Latest Asterisk installation script with Asterisk 1.4

Dear Asterisk friends

I finished the testing with the Asterisk 1.4 installation script. Now it's ready for download. Like script before this will install the following software on a plain Debian 4 R2 (latest etch release).

- Dependencies
- Asterisk-1.4.17
- Asterisk-Addons-1.4.5
- Zaptel-1.4.8
- LibPRI-1.4.3
- FreePBX-2.3.1
- mySQL to store CDR data
- Webmin to administrate your server
- phpMyAdmin to administrate your SQL server

Download the script and execute it. asterisk1.4-install

Please be aware that thsi script has no error handling yet, so make sure you have a internet connection before you execute the script.

As well you need to have a "valid" sources.list (/etc/apt/sources.list) so teh script can download a necessary packages.

Let me know if you need additional info.

With best regards
Daniel

hi daniel,
i am trying to run your asterisk install script, i am having trouble downloading the needed files from your server. my internet connection is up and running. when i try to manually download the files via a web browser the downloads stall at 15% to 30%.
do you think its something on my side or yours?
thank you very much
jeff

Do you have any useful files for turning this script into a cluster installation?

Specifically, I would be looking for the files such as "folder.list" for "cat'ing" into a .tar file to dump into a drbdlinks configured share mount - AND the "drbdlinks.conf" file.

Will you have a DRBD HA tutorial coming along anytime soon? The last one you did was for trixbox.... which is no fun!

Hi Endurion

Yes, i will have the tutorial ready bey next week (will have some time to compile it nicely during the chinese new year holiday here in KL).

Yes, trixbox is no fun..... (at least not anymore, after 1.2.3 it went downhill....)

We also do remote cluster installations, if you are interested.

Cheers
Daniel
